Events are themed celebrations within Free Realms that often span more than one day.
Annual events[]
Annual events are events that return to Free Realms each year.
Birthday Bash[]
- Main article: Birthday Bash
The Birthday Bash is an annual event held throughout the month of April in celebration of launch day for Free Realms on April 29th, 2009. The event features party items, and Cakenstein, along with his minions out to take the Birthday Cake, it is up to the players to stop them.
Super Spooktacular[]

The Super Spooktacular is an annual event during the month of October in celebration of Halloween. The event features many objectives such as: stopping the Pumpkin Prince, Trick-or-Treat, ghost hunting, etc.
Snow Days[]
- Main article: Snow Days
The Snow Days is an annual event during the months of December throughout January in celebration of the Winter Holidays. The event takes place in Snowhill where the Gifting Tree gives presents to all of the residents of Snowhill. The evil snowman boss named the Abominable Snowman and his evil snowmen try to take all the presents for themselves, and Candi Ivy, who gives you quests, will up to stop the Abominable Snowman and his evil snowmen.
12 Days of Presents[]

The 12 Days of Presents is an annual event that takes place from December 13th through the 24th as a part of SOE's 12 Days of Holidays. Each day, a quest is made available which upon completion on its first day offered; a present is rewarded along with its bow for that specific day. If the quest is completed on another day, only the present is granted leaving the bow to be acquired through the Station Cash Marketplace.
On December 25th, players that log in can open the presents that have a bow to redeem an exclusive item. Players get a bonus “Big Present” for every 4 of the daily presents they are able to open. The event was introduced in 2012, and each year players have the opportunity to receive a total of 15 presents.
Festival of Hearts[]

The Festival of Hearts is an annual Valentine's Day themed event held from February through March in Merry Vale. Stone Heart and the Heart Breakers are out to ruin love in Merry Vale, it is up to the players to stop them.
One time events[]
One time events are events that have currently been held once in Free Realms, regardless if returning the following year.
New Year's Eve[]

New Year's Eve was an event that celebrating the last day of the year, and the first day of the new year; held December 31 through January 1.
8-Bit Month[]
- Main article: 8-Bit Month
8-Bit Month was an 8-bit themed, month-long event that began September 1, 2013 and ran through October 7, 2013. During the event, Free Realms featured 8-Bit inspired content updates.
Lost Treasures Month[]
- Main article: Lost Treasures Month
The Lost Treasures Month was a themed month-long event that took place November 1 through December 10, 2013. During the event, Free Realms released four content updates that introduced variations of previously introduced items considered rare at the time the event ran, such as Physical Trading Card Game Virtual Rewards.
HeroRealms Month[]

The HeroRealms Month was a Hero vs. Villain themed month-long event beginning January 14, 2014. During the event, Free Realms features content updates introducing Hero vs. Villain themed content such as clothing, Player Studio items, and special color tints.
Spring Eggstravaganza[]
- Main article: Spring Eggstravaganza
Spring Eggstravaganza was an event held everyday from the 28th of March to the 31st of March. There will be a quest given to you from Alyssa Eggelyn. You see, every year a group of robgoblins takes one of her eggs and hides it somewhere in the world. You will have to find hidden eggs in Sacred Grove, when you find one on it's appropriate day you will be able to color it and open it on the Spring Eggstravagansa day. If you find all 4 eggs, you can open the large egg on the Spring Eggstravagansa day too. Without her eggs, Alyssa will have nothing to open on Eggstravaganza Day, so it's up to you to find her missing eggs.
Saint Patrick's[]
- Main article: Saint Patrick's
Saint Patrick's was an event held everyday from March 14th, 2013. To participate players would visit Lucky Chance McXander in Merry Vale and receive Lucky's Green Hat, which when equipped, enables players the chance to see Lucky's pots of gold.
Questline events[]
Storyline events are events that start the storyline quest in Free Realms. Currently they aren't returning the following year.
Shrouded Gloam[]
- Main article: Shrouded Gloam
The Shrouded Gloam was the main questline event from June 15th, 2012 to an unknown time, Shrouded Glade had been under siege by a Gloam Invasion.
