Actually no, I did not create this wiki, it was abandoned by it's creator (or could have been the creator made a new file). But as of March I became admin here having goals and hopes for this wiki, but then I got a little too busy due to the cwa character wiki and now I do not have as much time for this wiki as I need. All the help is greatly appreciated. Wuher MosEisley 12:46, July 31, 2012 (UTC)
Would it be ok to add "Farmer" and put it under the "Job" Category? Or would that not count?
Hmm, that is a very good question. I wouldn't quite put it under job's but more rather add it to the farming page about farming in general, then that one would fall under missions, housing, rewards, farming categories, but not an actual job itself.
Well technically, there is nothing against character pages here, and you would need the author's permission to remake it there. Hope this helps!Wuher MosEisley 21:05, December 5, 2012 (UTC)
Well yeah guess that's true. :P -Gemaddog7 (talk) 00:07, December 8, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the message about the vandal page, it has been dealt with. And for the ninja article, it didn't show up as cleared out in the history? Wuher MosEisley 02:26, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
Not sure if that is a great idea Wuher MosEisley 03:53, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
It is fine, you can just leave them there, I'll clean them up for another day. Heading off soon too, so I may stop responding.Wuher MosEisley 04:13, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
Alright then... :| Abce2|Talk "Other" 04:01, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, and just wanted to say something about the categories, if we have an "Items" category, we probably don't need an "Item" category. Abce2|Talk "Other" 04:07, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
You have to go into edit mode and manually remove it from the categories section to the right, below the the adding pictures and gallery buttons. If you don't see them, they're probably retracted, so just click the small vertical bar on the right. Abce2|Talk "Other" 04:10, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
I know of that bug, not sure what the cause of it is though, don't worry, it is just a temporary harmless bug. Wuher MosEisley 16:12, December 19, 2012 (UTC)
I am wondering if you like the new design to the wiki navigation? Wuher MosEisley 22:19, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
PS. I just really have to compliment the navigation, love the green and how the green is in a rectangle, and how the search bar is like Free Realms search bar. AshFR (talk) 01:48, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
I have fixed the reference error, and thank you for creating a citation needed template. To use the references correctly;
at the end of the content you want to reference, go to source mode, and type <ref>then here, after the ref has been ignitiated, type the http:// link, then to end it, type </ref> immediately after the url.
Then at the end of the page, in source mode, add <references/>. That automatically makes the reference list numbered with all the unreferenced refs you have made.
I hope this helps!--Wuher MosEisley 23:12, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
Just type <br /> at the start of each row, don`t worry, they wont apear outside of source mode once published. Wuher MosEisley 22:19, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
Jsut wanted to pop by and say thanks for all the work you've been doing! It's looking awesome, and I see you're #1 on the leaderboard now. :D Well done! Please let me know (or have Wuher poke me) if you can think of anything you need from the SOE side. The Dev Team is always busy but I can usually dig around and find answers or images if they have them. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Soe_amnerys (talk • contribs)
Sorry for the late response, I had fixed it yesterday, but it didn't cross my mind then as to explain why it gave you the error. The error was not from the www. it was from the .vm at the end of the links. That template was originally for articles on the free realms main site and not the help site. All of the pages on the main site have .vm at the end of their domain. Just thought I'd let you know. Wuher MosEisley 22:30, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
I agree, I have made a HelpFreeRealms template, it is now to be used for the help pages, and the FreeRealms template will be once again used for the Free Realms main site articles. I have fixed all of the pages that had the FreeRealms template that should have had the HelpFreeRealms template. Wuher MosEisley 01:02, March 7, 2013 (UTC)
The parameter is not meant to be left blank, if it were left blank it would be an invalid source link. Wuher MosEisley 21:56, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry about that, I did not realise it wasn't left blank, and that was the problem. Working on it now. Thank you.Wuher MosEisley 23:30, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
I located the error, the template wouldn't accept the links due to the way the news articles labeled the articles using "=" which would interfere as wiki coding. So I have made a new Free Realms news template named FreeRealmsNews, simply post the article id number in the parameter. --Wuher MosEisley 23:57, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
I was thinking on any article that originated from the brawlwiki would have the template. There are a lot of articles though and we should not go out of our way to add it to every article, but if you are going to edit a page that originated from there, may as well just add the template while you're there. Wuher MosEisley 01:59, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
Oh I see, I misread. The brawlwiki category would be aimed towards any brawlwiki articles, it would be like an all pages type category for the brawlwiki articles. Wuher MosEisley 02:04, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
Hold on, before you add the template to all the pages, try and add the images first. To make the page recognize it has images, an edit needs to be made, and adding the template is a perfect reason to add the edit.Wuher MosEisley 21:55, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
If it is any content that is longer than a single quote, then the Zam template would be used. If the content is from multiple pages, for now, just link it to the category all of the pages fall under. Wuher MosEisley 11:10, March 12, 2013 (UTC)
Hi there, here's a tip: When linking categories, add a colon in front of the prefix category:, example, [[:Category:Level_12|level 12]] turns into level 12. Hope this helps! Wuher MosEisley 00:17, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
